The PH80-4000 is an industrial-grade CNC whirling machine developed specifically for the high-precision machining of screw products, rotors, and worms. Built on an integral high-strength cast bed with a dual-guide rail design, this equipment ensures exceptional rigidity and wear resistance during continuous operations. The inclusion of 55° dovetail guide rails guarantees fast movement response and eliminates crawling during low-speed feeding, maintaining structural stability across a maximum workpiece length of 4000mm.

At the core of this CNC whirling machine is a robust 4-axis 3-linkage control system governing the A, C, X, and Z axes. The feed axes utilize precision ball screws driven directly by servo motors, achieving a linear axis positioning accuracy of ≤0.01mm and a repeatability of ≤0.015mm. The C-axis integrates a servo motor with a variable tooth thickness worm gear, providing convenient side backlash adjustment and highly precise positioning. Operators benefit from a Z-axis rapid traverse speed of 6-10m/min, significantly reducing non-cutting cycle times.

Material removal is managed by the integrated PH245W2 internal whirling head, powered by a dedicated 4-7.5kw servo motor. This high-performance head accommodates a product outer diameter range of 90-240mm and allows for a spiral angle adjustment of ±30°. Operating at spindle speeds between 300 and 800 rpm, it consistently delivers a surface finish of Ra3.2. As a dedicated CNC whirling machine, it utilizes a multi-station clamping cutter disc envelope method to perform combined cutting, optimizing the production of complex thread profiles and lead screws.

Workpiece holding is secured through a specialized clamping and supporting system. The setup features a 12-inch 3-jaw self-centering chuck paired with a hydraulic tailstock and a hydraulic double-opening automatic steady rest, ensuring reliable support for long workpieces. To maintain a clean machining environment, the CNC whirling machine employs an efficient air-blowing chip removal method combined with an automated chip conveyor. This continuous clearing of debris prevents chip recutting and prolongs tool life, supporting a total machine power output of 20KW.
