The primary challenge in machining 3000mm workpieces is managing deflection and vibration. The PH50-3000 Rotor Whirling Machine overcomes this by combining a robust 10″ (Ø250mm) 3-jaw self-centering hydraulic chuck with a special hydraulic double-opening/closing automatic steady rest. This provides reliable radial support along the extended length of the workpiece, ensuring stable clamping and precise machining.

 

The machine utilizes a 55° dovetail guide rail, lubricated by a centralized intermittent special lubrication pump. This high-rigidity structure guarantees high positioning accuracy, fast movement response, and absolutely no crawling during low-speed feeding, even across the extended Z-axis travel.

 

Equipped with the PH150W2 internal whirling head, the system delivers remarkable cutting power. Powered by a dedicated 4kw servo motor, the whirling head achieves speeds of 1400-2000 rpm.
